This experience has been transferred to other countries developing substation projects for transmission and distribution companies at an international level: Societe Nationale D Electricite (SNEL, Republic of Congo), Empresa de Distribución de Electricidad de Luanda (EDEL), Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO), KENYA POWER, Energy, Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA), Corporación Nacional de Electricidad en Ecuador (CNEL).

Our designs cover all levels of tension, adapting our solutions to the required degrees of demand, criticality and operability; from transformation centers or medium voltage sectioning centers (13.5 kV, 20 kV, 30 kV, …), generally intended for secondary distribution networks, rural electrification or even collection networks for renewable energies, to large substations in high voltage (220-230 kV) and in very high voltage (400-500 kV) generally destined to primary transmission networks.

The different phases:

  • Basic or conceptual engineering: technical and economic feasibility studies, connection studies, implantation studies.
  • Processing, conceptual, or administrative engineering, management of conditions.
  • Property engineering: development of bidding documents, preparation of offers, engineering review developed by third parties.

And the disciplines:

  • Civil engineering: earthworks, drainage, foundations, building.
  • Electromechanical engineering: design of support metal structures, earthing networks, electromechanical assemblies.
  • Electrical engineering: sizing of busbars and primary systems, auxiliary services, lighting, insulation coordination.
  • Control and protection engineering, including selectivity and coordination studies.
  • Commissioning of the facilities.
  • Supervision and site management.
