We provide comprehensive services in the energy sector: generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, as well as the management of renewable energy projects.
OUR COMPANY
GRUPO SISENER INGENIEROS
Our company, GRUPO SISENER INGENIEROS, was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 2000, when a group of experienced engineers on electrical power substations and hydroelectric plants created an engineering company with the clear intention of offering complete services in the energy sector: generation, transmission and distribution.
During these years of experience in SISENER, with our 150 engineers, we have established ourselves as one of the leading companies in the sector, incorporating all the specialties and resources (human and technical) necessary within our organization, to offer comprehensive engineering services, developed completely “inside our house.”
Projects such as electrical substations, high voltage lines, hydroelectric, wind farms, solar plants (photovoltaic, Stirling, thermosolar), biomass, geothermal, treatment and recovery of waste for energy production (WtE) or Fuel (Waste to Fuel), cogeneration, Industrial processes and large thermal power plants, as well as technological developments are part of the activities that we carry out at SISENER together with the different companies that are part of its group.

CountriesEUROPEAN FUNDING PROGRAM HORIZON 2020
In 2018, together with the Carbochemical Institute, we developed the Pirocrack Project (ID: 817214) for the treatment of urban solid waste (MSW), which received support from the European H2020 Funding Program in Phase I. Pirocrack is a new method to treat solid waste urban areas and avoid sending waste to landfills, an action for which community institutions are committed. The ultimate objective is that with small plants designed for this purpose, it is possible to recover waste close to where it is produced, which could reduce costs in waste treatment compared to what is done today (via incinerators or landfills) and be more environmentally friendly.
In 2015-2016, we also participated in the Fortissimo project (ID: 609029), a collaborative project for the use of simulation services that is executed through high-performance computing in the cloud. This project was also funded by the European Commission within the Seventh Framework Program and is part of the I4MS Initiative. We collaborated on this project as an end user of Ingecon’s Kriging interpolation software running on a high-performance cloud computing system.
